What is it?
As web developers who believe in our clients’ missions, we found that websites using many different hosts of varying quality couldn’t get the most out of our WordPress development. We can build great sites, but none of that matters if the websites run too slowly and drive impatient visitors away.
We decided to offer top-tier hosting services to offer our clients web sites whose speed and reliability we can stand behind, as opposed to opening up a shared hosting account “wherever.”
As top-tier hosting can be expensive to set up just for one organization, we were keen to make hosting affordable for non-profits we work with.
Why is this good for WordPress sites?
Speed and reliability
WordPress sites can be demanding on their servers. Managed WordPress hosting provides more stable and consistent access to your WordPress website than “shared hosting” accounts do.
Managed WordPress hosting is generally more expensive than regular ‘shared hosting’ accounts. By banding together all of our non-profits who need webhosting, we can offer webhosting for not much more than regular ‘shared hosting.’
What else is part of the hosting arrangement?
We actively monitor your WordPress website for software updates (which are frequent in the WordPress world, and required for WordPress security). We do automated and safe software updates for you on at least a quarterly basis, or as vulnerability alerts emerge, and service your site if any problems emerge from the updates.
G Suite Integration
Get top-quality email services. If you’re a non-profit in a Canadian province with a Certificate of Incorporation, we can assist you with getting on to G Suite for Non-Profits, the free version of G Suite (formerly Google Apps for Work). And of course, we integrate your WordPress site with it.
We connect your site to basic Cloudflare integration so that visitors have fast access to your website around the globe.
